Community Needs

Many of the families do not have a continual source of income and can’t buy enough food for their families. Providing food supplements for families and individuals can help them survive.  We also strive to encourage and support individuals who are trying to create income-generating opportunities for themselves by supplying some financial assistance to start or expand their work. Health needs are common and many of them consist of needing basic care. The most common health problems are worms, malaria, sanitation-related stomach problems and wounds. These are just a few of the ways that open the door for people to hear the truth of the Gospel.

Sharing the Gospel through:

  • Showing the Jesus film

  • Talking Bibles

  • Prayer meetings

  • Discipleship (visiting people in their homes)

  • Church services

  • Choir worship

  • Relationship building

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

Update

  • Elderly

In this community the elderly are often forgotten and in desperate situations. Several elderly are being helped with food supplements and a new, weather-resistant house was recently built for an elderly, blind man.
